The toilet was well packaged and arrived without any damage. The installation was more difficult than anticipated due to the age of the house and previous toilet in the space. I recently purchased the Deer Valley 2-piece toilet, and overall, I’m quite satisfied with my choice. The installation was pretty straightforward, although I have to say that the directions could have been clearer at times. I managed to figure it out without too much hassle, but I can see how it might confuse someone less handy. One feature that stands out is the water-saving flush. It definitely does its job in terms of efficiency, which is a plus for both the environment and my water bill. However, I did notice that the flush is a bit louder than what I was used to. I've seen these newer afwalls being used hundreds of times since being introduced in 2008, and they have been nothing but really reliable and sensory-friendly for people on the spectrum. Unfortunately, there's a vocal group of haters on the internet who do not like this generation of afwall, but pay them no mind. The bowl of this toilet is deep enough compared to the older model that felt too shallow, like I was sitting on a clogged toilet. The new model, also, avoids siphoning out unnecessarily when you flush it, unlike the previous model that can do so unexpectedly and unnerve some people.
