I purchased the LG LDTS5552S dishwasher and have experienced a persistent chemical odor since the beginning of ownership. The smell is difficult to describe precisely, but it resembles heated rubber, vinyl, petroleum products, or synthetic plastic. The odor becomes stronger as the dishwasher heats up and appears to be emitted from the lower vent area. The problem occurs even during normal operation without using the High Temp or Extra Dry settings. Over the past year I have tried numerous troubleshooting steps, including cleaning the filters repeatedly, running cycles without detergent, using dishwasher cleaning cycles, and removing additional plastic accessories from inside the machine. None of these actions resolved the issue. The dishes themselves do not retain the odor, but the heated air emitted by the dishwasher does. The smell is strong enough to travel beyond the kitchen and can sometimes be noticed on the second floor of the house. After more than a year of trying to live with this issue, I have stopped using the dishwasher altogether and returned to washing dishes by hand because I am not comfortable having my family continuously exposed to the odor. What concerns me most is that this odor appears whenever the appliance is heated, suggesting that materials inside the unit may be releasing volatile compounds into the air. I do not know whether LG has evaluated the long-term impact of breathing these emissions during routine daily use, but I believe this is a legitimate concern that deserves attention. I am disappointed because otherwise the dishwasher performs well. If LG is aware of this issue or has a solution, I would genuinely appreciate a response. If I could change anything, it would be to make it more easy to work friendly. My pans do not come clean, the food is off but the stain rings are on sides and bottom. I've tried two different detergents and even the heavy duty cycle. Not sure why that happens but it was sold to us that shouldn't happen. We absolutely love it otherwise. Jackie. Mon May 25 2026

I love this counter depth refrigerator. We received it a few weeks later than originally scheduled, but it was better than not getting it at all. Thanks goodness for Wayfair! I couldn’t order it anywhere without waiting over 5 to 6 months. The inside drawer within the freezer drawer had a small piece broken. But I was able to send a video to the tech and the part was ordered and received. I love the fact that you don’t see fingerprints. Nantucket Sinks' WFCC36FCWSW is a 36" wide workstation farmhouse apron fireclay sink. The included accessories feature a bottom grid, cutting board, and basket strainer drain. The cutting board handily fits on the internal ledge of the sink to keep your counters clear! Features a side drain creating more unobstructed space below in the base cabinet. The included grid helps water flow to the drain and prevents accidental chipping of the sink from dropped dishware. The sides of the sink have a slight taper from top to bottom and the basin is sloped for good drainage and glazed smooth in a glossy white classic finish. Due to the firing process, dimensions are nominal and may vary to actual up to 0.25". Apron-style base cabinet is required to support this sink. A note about fireclay: Small cracks will appear on the unglazed underside of the sink, these are cosmetic only and have no impact on the performance of the sink.
