Instructions are very bad. I have it half assembled and must now undo it and reassemble differently. The instructions are not clear as to part orientation. The pictures are too small to show the correct way to orient pieces. What seemed obvious was wrong. In addition there are many spelling errors in the instructions. Very pleased with the awning. Fits the space just right. Assembly was not overly difficult but the instructions could have been a bit more detailed. I looked at several videos related to assembly of the out sunning awnings and even though they were not for this exact awning it helped immensely. I was able to do the complete assembly by myself but needed help to lift the awning into place on the brackets. I mounted the brackets in the rim joist between the first and second floors... as such I needed to purchase some lag screws as the anchors provided with the awning were suited more to mounting on brick or concrete.
