I have been using these filters for the last 7 years. I live in LA and the facet water isn’t the best to drink. These filters make a healthy water that taste good. The cooktop burners are very fast and precise. As a bonus, I notice almost zero of the buzzing that I've gotten on other induction cooktops. The only negative I've encountered so far is that even using conduction, I find some pretty noticeable hot spots (or cold ones) when I roast something (I see this when I do cauliflower, for instance, and a part is getting to the nice roasty stage and the rest is still white and not quite there).. I was shocked (though I obviously shouldn't have been) to see that the water and electrical hookups had moved completely, making the install much more complicated for me. On the other hand, the newer leveling procedure is much nicer. Of course, we're still just getting used to it, but I fully expect this new Benchmark version to last at least as long as the old "800" model did, and be just as easy to live with. (Full disclosure, the old one would still be running fine if "someone" hadn't taken a tumble on the open door!) So far, my only quibble (and it's a large one) is that the Delay Start button has been moved to ONLY the app and is no longer on the control panel. At least let it be part of your Favorites settings!
