Shed went together easily, with decent directions. I understand why the metal is covered with plastic to protect during shipping, but it peels and looks bad in time. We've had ours up for 2 winters now in Vermont, and no damage, doors and latches still work. I recommend setting this up on 2 pallets with plywood attached on top if it isn't going on a hard level surface. Tolerances are tight, and you will be happier with the result if it's on a perfectly level surface. Too bad about the peeling plastic, as it's a good looking shed for the money. I’ll probably add some hooks to the walls to make organizing tools a little easier, but overall it has plenty of room for what I need. The only downside I’ve noticed is that there isn’t a lot of airflow, so it can get pretty hot inside on warm days. That should be an easy fix with some added ventilation, though. This worked out well for our needs. Definitely not a one-person assembly job as some pieces either didn't align exactly right or needed someone else to hold pieces together so they could be attached. The holes in the door don't align very well so it's hard to attach a small lock to keep the door from swinging outward. Everything was labeled and the instructions (mostly pictures with directional arrows) were easy to follow enough. If you can assemble Lego sets, the assembly instructions were about the same method. Yes, you need a floor. Do measure the space before buying and cutting (tip - HD will give you one free cut on the giant board. Having it in two pieces makes it much easier to install inside). We also needed a ladder to assemble the roof. It is a bit flimsy though it worked well for us as we installed this in the small space between the house and fence, nestled up against another part of a fence that does not open. I put the shed together by myself. It would make it easier with two people but I was able to manage. I think it is decently sturdy and will serve its purpose well. I would like better ground or wall anchors besides just metal "stakes" but I will manage. I think it is worth the buy if you want a simple storage space ( I plan on putting a lawn mower in it). This shed is outstanding! Very high quality materials and clear instructions.
