I wanted a non-stick griddle that would be good for eggs or pancakes. I know these types of teflon non-stick pans are being fazed out for ceramic non-stick. We recently purchased a new gas range for our rental house that we own. I was surprised that it didn't come with a broiler pan, nor give that as an option to add to the purchase. I consider that to be as basic as a burner! Very disappointing!!! Also. BTW, I don't understand why you went to JUST steam clean vs Self-Clean! I think you should either provide both OR JUST Self-cleaning. The latter is definitely preferred.
