I just love my new cooktop. The design makes it really easy to clean. In terms of performance, I noticed that cook times are a little bit shorter. The gas dial has a wide range, so I can go from very low to high flame. Also having an additional burner is great. I can have multiple meals going at the same time. Being a novice fixing a drawer, it took me a bit to figure out how to separate this into 2 parts for install since there were no real instructions. I eventually figured out that you just had to forcefully yank them apart as their is no lever or catch for release like most drawer slides I've dealt with. After that, it was a simple install. I did have to search for flat small screws to install as they are not included with this slide. The only down side is that you have to pull so hard that it actually pulls the attached slide off the bottom of the drawer since there is no way to attach it tightly to thin wood bottoms. It seems sturdy enough, but we will be careful with this file drawer and never pull it fully out again...Not much left to reattach it to. i have to admit i had no idea what to expect. Truly i just thought these would be some cheap light weight metal brackets. they were delivered very quickly. I went to pick up the box off the patio... again, thinking these were probably some cheap light weight metal brackets, but the box was heavy! quite heavy. I brought them in and pulled them out of the box and was very surprised and pleased at the weight and quality of these brackets. We had spent a lot of money on a large under mount hand hammered copper metal sink and i was concerned about the weight of the sink being carried by just the cabinet. i found these online and took a shot at them. very stout piece of metal and nice construction.
