This is a great sink ,when every inch counts in tight space. The drain is towards the back, witch you can actually put garbage can in underneath the sink. Most sink drain are in the middle ,which does not leave a lot of space for much. this is excellent in a small kitchen that every inch counts . This is a great undermount steel sink. Size is pleasant for being only 22 inches, and deep, in order to accommodate items without splashing. There is some kind of sound deadening foam panels adhered to all sides, and the whole of the underneath of the basin has been coated with some kind of sprayed on dampening to help prevent echoing and clattering. I really wanted to love this sink, however the sink itself is nice but the drain system has given my installer fits for many hours as there always seems to be a leak around the drain components.
