The Napoleon grill installation instructions were very easy to follow, even the electrical connections. I like to cook on the grill but I always hade to use a flash light but not with the Napoleon 700 grill. The grilling with the Napoleon grill is much easier with the lighting it has and makes cooking on it much easier when you can see what your cooking. The grill heats up fast and holds the temperature very well. I really like the lighting feature on the burner switches, Blue when a burner is off and red when a burner is on which is a great reminder when burners are still on in case things get busy and you walk away from the grill you can see at a glance a burner is still on. My new Bosch is great but I really don't like the new 3rd tier top drawer, stem glass holder, and reduced size silverware basket. I recently started reusing the the full-size silverware basket from my old dishwasher, which thankfully I did not discard. I'm hoping that the flap that holds stemware in place can be easily removed since we normally do not use stemware and it makes loading ordinary glasses difficult. Pros: It fits nicely in the space of my previous range - I like the "lip" on the sides. Top is easy to clean. Indicator shows status of oven preheat. Telescoping rack is great. Cons: Sound of timer is low and very irritating even after I tried adjusting volume. The warming drawer should have a handle so you wouldn't need to push the front of it to open it.. Patb. The grates feel substantial without being overly tall, and the continuous stainless‑steel surface makes cleaning incredibly easy since the burners are fully enclosed. In terms of performance, I tend to rely on the higher‑BTU burners. They heat quickly and work well for most of my cooking. The lower‑BTU burners, however, take noticeably longer, so I don’t find myself using them often. One small inconvenience is that I have to push down the knobs twice to ignite the flame, which isn’t a deal‑breaker but is worth noting. It is a very nice piece of equipment, with just a few comments. First, the microwave function is very quiet, a plus. However, the internal vent fan is very loud. More to the point, while air blows out the top vent, there is very little flow into the two-under vent portals, not very efficient removing smoke and odors. The control and number pad is very difficult to read in normal light. Either the text needs to stand out more, or ideally it would be better if illuminated.
