When I saw these, I thought of my door brackets. The replacements I used were not black, and it doesn't look very nice. These are beautiful, solid black. It also dried quickly, which is a plus when you're on a time crunch and need to get done fast. All in all, it's a great product. The smell, of course, was bad, but usually is with sealant. These plants were shipped during very cold New England weather. 4 of 5 looked like I purchased them off the shelf in a local store. Very well packed.
