Perfect light fan for my bedroom. Building a new house so we havent got it up yet. The fan quit approximately 14 months after install. I bought the 5 year warranty. I contacted Allstate about this warranty over 3 weeks ago, and as yet have not gotten any satisfaction. I have waited 3 times for a live person to respond over the phone, and no one ever picks up. These blinds were perfectly fit for the space and easy to install because they are tension rod type. You can pop them up in seconds and they don’t do any damage to walls. It would work great for renters or anyone who doesn’t want to mess with a drill. I haven’t framed out the window I wanted them in, but once I do I can take them off easily, and put them back in. I was surprised to find out that it also came with brackets so you can hang it traditionally if you’d prefer that. The blind glides up and down easily when opening and shutting the blinds and the room darkening was amazing. We have a movie theater set up next to it so I needed this room to be darker. You can see in the pictures how bright it is outside and then how much light gets filtered by those blinds. The color is perfect, a soft white shade that goes with any wall color.. Claire.
