The steel supports are high quality. Installation was straightforward. One person with any DIY skills can install a single awning. If I were to install the four, again, I would get assistance. Functionally, the Aquila solved a rainwater runoff problem. Since rain gutters were insufficient, the Aquila awnings serve to guide the water off the roof and beyond the windows below. The clear smoke tint provides some protection from the sun, while maintaining our view from inside. Aesthetically, the Aquila system matches the look of our contemporary-modern house. Straightforward installation except there was no mounting schematic. The awning is 25” top to bottom plus a 6” skirt. I drew a 48” level line 25” from door top for the top rail. Top mounts were installed 6” from ends. Loosen the brackets but do not allow them to come apart. Place the rods into the awning pockets and install all rod hardware. Snap the top rod into the top brackets. This took me several tries. Center the awning. Tighten the top clamps. The last step is to mount the bottom brackets and attach the bottom side rails. purchased four and set them side to side. they look great frame is very sturdy and heavy steel. the anchors they come with definitely not long enough to hold long term in ground. i replaced with 12 galvanized anchors. the ceiling material is flimsy but does the job for now overall i say 83 happy.
