One strong person who’s handy could install alone, but 2 people is good advice mostly to ensure being careful. Each panel weighs about 35 pounds. The hanging hardware provided, which we installed in drywall, is completely adequate to hang securely. I shopped around and wanted to pay less, but I was only coming up with options that looked inferior. I bit the bullet and decided to purchase these and am happy I took the crowbar to my wallet!
