Bought this for our back patio and I’m happy with it! We’ve only used it once, and it wasn’t a big fire so it’s a little hard to say if there was a difference in the smoke experience. But it’s a nice size, looks nice, and it’ll get a lot of use. One thing is that the bag it came with doesn’t work as a carry bag. tlTremendous floor. never had a tent with a floor this thick, it has some sort of rubberized coating. very nice feels very durable. Although I did think that this was going to be made of an oxford style cloth almost like canvas. These smokeless fire pits amaze me! They are good at what they do for sure. Stood around mine for about 40 mins the other day and you could barely make out a slight smoky smell on my clothes. There are some distinct differences between this fire pit and the solo stoves. This thing is HEAVY duty (and just heavy) . Seems very sturdy, like it will last a while. A second difference is this thing gets HOT! Unlike the solo that doesn't get hot on the sides and bottom, this fire pit does! For me I consider that an advantage, I have stood around numerous solo stoves that I could barely feel any heat from it unless I was standing right up against it. This one kicks out some nice heat..
