Wow, this is a beautiful lantern. Arrived very securely packaged. I found the same item on another (much more expensive) website before I found the exact same thing here at a substantially better price (kicking myself over that one). This lantern is just beautiful in both day and night environments, but especially at night, when the colors reflect on the surface the lantern is sitting on. The solar bulb is bright, allowing for the beautiful reflective design. The thickness of the glass is substantial -- it doesn't feel like it will break easily. These are the perfect match for the tabletop lantern version. I am using these for my flowerpots as a compliment to the tabletop lanterns that I have in the same patterns. These are the perfect size. I have found the solar light to be bright, lighting up my gardens with a soft glow. The glass feels substantial, the stake also feels well made. You will want to make sure that the stake is securely "planted" as the glass top does make it top heavy. Mine are sunk into deep pots so it is not a problem for me, but you should be aware that they are top heavy. I love all the colors in these, and will be adding additional to my remaining pots.. This is cute little yard decor. Not too tall. It is perfect for my container walkway. Gives a little pop of color before the main spring blooms show up. The spinner works fine. I use it to tell if the wind is strong enough to open the gate for. It is around three feet and comes in three pieces. It is simple to put together and takes about three to five minutes to put together and stick in the ground.
