We recently selected this shower door for a bathroom refresh. We didn't want to do custom glass in this kids bathroom, and opted to save a bit and go with a premade frameless shower door. The quality of the materials is exceptional for our needs here! Achieving a "high-end" look often comes down to the weight and finish of the hardware, and this door delivers on both counts. The brass finish is sophisticated and has a beautiful, soft luster. It isn't that overly shiny "fake" gold. The hinges feel substantial and provide a smooth, heavy inswing and outswing. The 3/8" tempered glass is crystal clear. It makes the entire bathroom feel much larger and more open, which is exactly the "airy" vibe I was going for. Because this is a frameless design, precision is key. The wall hinges are sturdy and the seal is tight, preventing any water leakage without needing bulky metal framing. This is a beautiful set, but not the best for an old house with walls that aren't completely straight. The top of the stable wall is flush, while the bottom is about a 1/2 inch off the wall. It still sits in the bracket, but because it isn't as far back in the bracket, the door is not stable. Other than that, I am very pleased. This is the most beautiful shower door. We had a slight problem with it fitting. Called Glass warehouse. NO problem. I got the right size panel in a few days. Wayfair and Glass Warehouse were awesome. It has been installed and in use for almost 6 weeks and one if the brass parts is rusting. Not sure what to do about that.
