I needed a ceiling fan for my screened-in porch. I didn't want to break the bank, so I waited for this to go on sale. Good quality, but not $875. (original price) worth of quality. I worried about the weight of the blades because it says "solid wood." I'm not sure that is the case, but then again, I'm not a carpenter. The blades are actually pretty. This light arrived well packaged and in a generic ceiling light package. Sofucor does do a lot of ceiling fans per their website and the interior packaging confirmed it was a Sofucor product. There is a little blue tooth speaker in the middle of the fan, and the LED lighting will not only show up on the outer plastic crystallized rim, it will shine through the “star” holes in the main basin. At first I thought they were little glitter pieces but you can fully see through them when I held it up to a light. This is going in my teenage sons room during our new build, so I will update photos after full installation. All in all it looks to be a stellar, very cool product so we are looking forward to it.. A great modern update for my bedroom that I remodeled to replace the old early 2000s model I had. It’s much more quiet and glides through the air. I keep it set to 6 which is the highest speed. It’s was about 40 minutes to get it assembled and installed. The instruction video made things super easy, but the printed instructions were good too. My only issue is that it does not have memory. So if power gets switched off, it will not save your last setting (including blade direction) and you must use the remote to power it on. This fan is beautiful! I had an electrician install the fall. He was able to take down the old fan and put in this new fan in about 40 minutes! So much have been a super easy set up. After having the fan installed buy an electrician and downloading the app I am prompted to pay $4.99 weekly or $29.99 yearly to control the phone using the app. None of this is disclosed in the product description. There is a button in the app to "continue to limited version" which is supposedly free but there is no free version. It simply sends you in an endless loop where you are prompted to pay them to use the app. The manufacturer and product listing are dishonest and you're asking for trouble purchasing this fan. If you lose the remote or the remote brakes, you lose all ability to control the light or the fan. That was the entire purpose of purchasing a smart enabled fan so that if something happened to the remote it doesn't brick the device. This is outright fraud. Do not trust this listing.. Christian. As fans go, this one fits the bill. It's quiet and goes well in my husband's study. It came well packaged and all the parts were in great condition. Why in the world the previous owner installed white ceiling fans on a brown house is beyond me!! I hated the old fan, how dirty it was and how it didn't match the exterior of the house in any way at all. So, I stumbled upon this GREENEVER outdoor ceiling fan and knew it would be perfect! The fan was fairly easy to install (cramming the remote box into the housing without crimping wires is always the hardest part!). The ABS blades will hold up in any weather, yet don't look like plastic. The fan is totally quiet - not a sound! The 3 different LED temperature colors are perfect for our outdoor area off of the bedroom - we can choose a bright white light, or something more muted in the evening. I'm definitely pleased!.
