I needed a ceiling fan for my screened-in porch. I didn't want to break the bank, so I waited for this to go on sale. Good quality, but not $875. (original price) worth of quality. I worried about the weight of the blades because it says "solid wood." I'm not sure that is the case, but then again, I'm not a carpenter. The blades are actually pretty. This light arrived well packaged and in a generic ceiling light package. Sofucor does do a lot of ceiling fans per their website and the interior packaging confirmed it was a Sofucor product. There is a little blue tooth speaker in the middle of the fan, and the LED lighting will not only show up on the outer plastic crystallized rim, it will shine through the “star” holes in the main basin. At first I thought they were little glitter pieces but you can fully see through them when I held it up to a light. This is going in my teenage sons room during our new build, so I will update photos after full installation. All in all it looks to be a stellar, very cool product so we are looking forward to it.. I ordered 4 of this style ceiling fan. 3 were fine. The last one had defective wiring to attach light to the fixture. Per Wayfair, had to go thru mfg. for resolution. Owner of my electrical company trouble shooted and was able to resolve the problem a couple days later. Appears to be working fine. However this did incur add'l cost for installation. My concern was when I requested replacement of ceiling fan there were only 3 left in stock. Feared would not be able to get another. The process ultimately turned out ok but was not comfortable how issue was handled for above reason especially since recently purchasing 3. This little fan has a lot of features for the price. I bought a white one to replace a big clunky old fan. This compact, low profile fan creates a big breeze for its size. It instantly modernized my bedroom and was easy to install. The light changes color temperature and has a dimmer, both features I LOVE!! You can see in the photos how the light color can be changed from cool to warm. My husband said the fan is plastic and a little chintzy, but in my opinion, a lightweight ceiling fan is a good quality. It works great and is quiet. Came very well packaged. I had a handyman install it. He did not seem to have any problems. It is controlled by the remote. The wall outlet (?) only turns the unit off. The fan moves alot of air with only three blades. The remote also controls on/off, warm/cool light, light brightness, 6 fan speeds, and has a timer.
