Pretty straight forward and easy to install. My husband (who isn't too handy) was able to do it himself. It is very heavy so two people may be needed since it's 110lbs. The gold matches my daughter bathroom and it looks beautiful. The back is shorter than our last one but it's good since my four year old is able to teach the buttons by herself. The lid is soft closing so no more slamming of the cover. Feels great and looks just as clean and sleek. I recently purchased the Deer Valley 2-piece toilet, and overall, I’m quite satisfied with my choice. I finally installed the toilet it was a little tricky the back was closer to the wall more than my previous toilet. This toilet was my first one piece toilet that I’ve ever purchased. Now my house has nothing but one piece toilets in it. This one is in my son’s room, so I per se, do not use it but my son loves it and no more stopped up toilets for me. So that makes me happy! This one looks like a two piece to me because you can see the shape of the bowl, but it’s not. The others I have you can’t see the shape which makes it more aesthetic looking to me.
