I bought this not as a tent for a dog, but, as a cover to prevent damage to my portable generator, when using during bad weather. I haven't actually used it during a weather incident, as of yet. It passed that test perfectly, and, judging by how it looks, I'm pretty sure it'll work fine during rain or snow.
