This is a great undermount steel sink. Size is pleasant for being only 22 inches, and deep, in order to accommodate items without splashing. There is some kind of sound deadening foam panels adhered to all sides, and the whole of the underneath of the basin has been coated with some kind of sprayed on dampening to help prevent echoing and clattering. I love the sink, but the packaging is SO bad that the first TWO sinks that were delivered were too dented up to use. By the time the delivery man came with the third sink - after delivering AND picking up two others - he was laughing and calling us by our first names. After the second return, I talked to someone who suggested requesting extra special packaging, and this worked. The edges of the third box were reinforced when we got it, and the third sink had only a small bend on the lip, which was under the counter anyway.
