This black patio door handle is a surface with hook latch style and is keyed. Often found on older style patio doors, it is mounted on the door's inside frame and the hook latch engages the keeper mounted on the jamb. It has a 2-1/8 inch high extruded aluminum inside handle with an anti-lift feature on the hook latch. The mounting holes are 4-15/16 inch apart. The outside handle is a low profile extruded pull with cylinder.

The thin bar that is connected to the locking cylinder snapped after using the lock two times. The lock now only locks from the inside and cannot be unlocked with the key. I would recommend another product that is a bit stronger and less likely to break so fast.. Bryan. Plano, TX. Fri Oct 04 2024

This lock is constructed from diecast and comes in a painted aluminum color. The 1-1/2 in. throw bolt may be manually or key locked. Helps to prevent forced entry and may be locked in ventilating position. Can be used on patio doors, sheds, and utility doors to help prevent a forced entry. May also be mounted in a ventilating position and keep the door secure.

Works really well. We have used them all over the house over the years. One caveat: it may happen that the spring gets misaligned, which makes it hard to close the lock without manually adjusting the spring. This handle is a black internal style latching patio door handle found on Viking as well as many patio door manufacturers. The most common internal style latch. The handle body is diecast steel with a wood handle attached. Included is a matching keyed outside handle and keeper. The mounting holes are 3-15/16 in. apart. When the latch is installed into the door frame through an inside access hole, the connected lever is held in place by a flat spring as it operates the latch up and down to engage the keeper.

The Rockwell Charlotte handles are the traditional sliding door handles. It is a 2 piece construction handle and is available in a back-to-back C handle or with an exterior finger pull. The Charlotte sliding door handles have a good finger clearance but do have a profile height of 1.95 inches and may not clear all screen doors. They come standard in a private version but are also available in a limited edition with the key locking cylinders preinstalled in the offset keylock position. The handles are Non-handed and suitable for either right or left-hand doors. The Charlotte handles are suitable for 0.171″ diameter screw-hole door face bores.
