This patio lock is made well. I wish I could install it, but my new apartment complex will not allow me to drill into the frame. I will be giving this to my sister to use on her patio door. I will say it is very well made. The locking peg is sturdy and long, so it will secure the door when I stalled. This black patio door handle is a surface with hook latch style and is keyed. Often found on older style patio doors, it is mounted on the door's inside frame and the hook latch engages the keeper mounted on the jamb. It has a 2-1/8 inch high extruded aluminum inside handle with an anti-lift feature on the hook latch. The mounting holes are 4-15/16 inch apart. The outside handle is a low profile extruded pull with cylinder.

The thin bar that is connected to the locking cylinder snapped after using the lock two times. The lock now only locks from the inside and cannot be unlocked with the key. I would recommend another product that is a bit stronger and less likely to break so fast.. Bryan. Plano, TX. Fri Oct 04 2024

The Rockwell Charlotte handles are the traditional sliding door handles. It is a 2 piece construction handle and is available in a back-to-back C handle or with an exterior finger pull. The Charlotte sliding door handles have a good finger clearance but do have a profile height of 1.95 inches and may not clear all screen doors. They come standard in a private version but are also available in a limited edition with the key locking cylinders preinstalled in the offset keylock position. The handles are Non-handed and suitable for either right or left-hand doors. The Charlotte handles are suitable for 0.171″ diameter screw-hole door face bores.

This is a wafer lock that is commonly used on sliding patio doors flush handle sets. Only useable on doors 7/8 to 1 inch thick. Make sure to install the lock with the wafers at 12 o'clock so the lock works properly, depress the wafer catch to slide and hold the lock into place. This lock can be inserted in the following Prime-Line sliding door handles to make them a locking handleset: C 1226, C 1045, C 1134, C 1043, C 1129, C 1033, C 1075, C 1123, C 1030, C 1101, C 1130, C 1148, C 1032, C 1076, C 1149, MP1043, MP1032, MP1033 and MP1045.
