Bought this double screen door because we were screening the deck at our lake house. We have extra wide steps up to the deck and needed a door wider than the standard 32 or 36 inch. Listing said for width less than 68" it could be modified, so we decided to go for it. I was surprised, the instructions were complete, clear, and easy to follow. (So often you get the skimpy badly translated ones.) With a little help from a neighbor we got 2 sets, front and back of deck, installed in about 3-4 hours. Hubby is a metal fabricator, not a carpenter, but he said it was pretty easy once he understood their system. I would say it's a 2 person job, unless you're a really good carpenter. We have 1 side set as a stationary sidelight, only opening the other side. We'll put some planters or knick knacks on the steps in front of the stationary side. A few years a workman was moving our fridge out through the sliding doors and cracked the track that the sliding door rolls along. I purchased a track repair kit that clips over the broken track, and that worked for a couple of years but I knew it would not last forever since the underneath track was plastic and was cracked, and so sooner or later it would break. Well, it did break and so the clip on metal "fix it" kit would not stay in place. I purchased this track for my solid wood, 8 feet wide, Crestline door (that is very heavy) and in less than an hour I had removed my door, removed the old plastic track (who ever thought a plastic track for a door that weighed 70-80 pounds was a good idea, anyway?), and installed this new track. I had to cut off about 3 inches of this track and my dewalt sidegrinder did the trick in about 10 seconds. Then I installed this track inside the existing base, using stainless screws. It works perfectly! It has been years since this door opened smoothly so we are loving it! Only complaint: It would have been nice if they had included screws with it, and would have been nice if the screw holes were beveled so that the screws sit flush, but neither impacts the operations of the door.. This white diecast outside handle can replace a multiple outside handles. It will fit most applications that require any of the following mounting holes of 3 in., 3-1/2 in., 3-15/16 in., 4-15/16 in., 5-5/8 in. or 6-7/8 in. on center. It can be keyed with installing the Prime-Line part E 2000 key cylinder. Minimum and maximum door width of 1 in.

Arrived quickly and has a nice weight and feel to it. Would have given it 5 stars but my only complaint is the hardware included is only 2” and were way too short to be able to fit through the existing handle and door frame. Would have been. I e to have a couple of screw size options. So make sure to have extra on hand of various sizes, I needed 2 12” (8-32) to be able to actually install the handle. This lock is constructed from diecast and comes in a painted aluminum color. The 1-1/2 in. throw bolt may be manually or key locked. Helps to prevent forced entry and may be locked in ventilating position. Can be used on patio doors, sheds, and utility doors to help prevent a forced entry. May also be mounted in a ventilating position and keep the door secure.

Works really well. We have used them all over the house over the years. One caveat: it may happen that the spring gets misaligned, which makes it hard to close the lock without manually adjusting the spring. The Rockwell Charlotte handles are the traditional sliding door handles. It is a 2 piece construction handle and is available in a back-to-back C handle or with an exterior finger pull. The Charlotte sliding door handles have a good finger clearance but do have a profile height of 1.95 inches and may not clear all screen doors. They come standard in a private version but are also available in a limited edition with the key locking cylinders preinstalled in the offset keylock position. The handles are Non-handed and suitable for either right or left-hand doors. The Charlotte handles are suitable for 0.171″ diameter screw-hole door face bores.

This is a black plastic pull with a steel latch. These are non-handed to fit either a left or right sliding screen door and feature a mortise installation. They are designed to fit on Jim Walters sliding extruded frame screen doors. Mounting holes are 3-9/16 in. on center. All necessary mounting hardware is included for a quick and easy installation. A Phillips head screwdriver is required for installation. Each package contains 1 latch and pulls (keeper sold separately).
