Found the perfect installation product! I was looking to make an old fixture smart automated and this SkyPlug canopy kit allowed me do just that. The company has a SkyHome app that controls my light and best part was how easy it was to install the plug and canopy onto my fixture. After installing the outlet and plugging in my Eurofase fixture I realized how dirty the glass was. The Skyplug allowed me the ease of unplugging and cleaning my glass fixture on the ground and then quickly plugging it back into the ceiling. Where has this amazing invention been? You can use it with almost any hanging light! I think I might just install these in the whole house. I wanted a "girly" ceiling fan and light for my MBR, and this is the one I chose. Yes, the metal color is a bit brassy-pinkish -- some would say borderline tacky/campy -- but I like it for "glamming up" my bedroom. The crystals are beautiful and the 40 or so large, weighy spheres took about 45 minutes for me to attach after the elecrician removed the older fan and installed this one. The long crystals came pre-installed, with a couple extras included in case of breakage. The fan uses a remote and has 6 speeds, moving a surprisingly impressive amount of air. The LED lights have several different colors and brightnesses. The fan runs quietly and has no balance issues thus far (it's only been a week). The clear blades fold away neatly on top of the light fixture when the fan isn't being used. IF you are looking for an understated "elegant" fan/light, this might be over the top.
