After our current playhouse started showing signs of pretty bad rot, my wife and I decided it was time for something new. I assembled this and my kids have been playing in the new playhouse non-stop since. I received the product and it arrived in perfect shape and was a smooth delivery process. I started the process of inventorying parts and sealing the wood prior to assembly. This step was worth the effort to ensure longevity of the product but also to organize the parts and make the build process simple. It felt like a daunting number of steps but the instruction manual in conjunction with the app made it a relatively painless process overall. This is a large playhouse so it still took several hours to build but boards were cut and prepped which make it pretty simple to put together, you just work your way through the steps. The most time consuming part was the slide, it is a lot of bolts and parts, but when its built its very solid so felt it was worth it overall. When my kids got home after i finished assembly they went crazy for all the new features of the playset with their favorites being the web swing, the tube slide, and the rock wall. I am very happy to have this up and love the way it looks and how solid it feels even as an adult up on the deck playing with my kids. It took three handy adults three days to put together. The wood parts were organized by section for the most part, which was nice. However, the instructions were not the best. For example, one page called for a part that was not in the specified box, and at the bottom of the page it said “hint look in this box for this part”…. We love scavenger hunts, but there is a time and a place. Also, there were not enough of certain screwsbolts, and too many of others. We had to go out and buy more. You ask for a return call know one calls you back. I finally got thru after being on hold for 7 hours. Unbelievable!!! I finally got a technician to call me to ask me , what’s wrong with it”? I told him the message that’s blinking on the hood screen and he asks , so do you need parts ? What ?! How am I supposed to know. Oh my goodness. That’s why I’m calling him, to figure this out. Honestly save your money and your time. I will never purchase from wayfair again. I will update this review, the very helpful technician that is asking me if I need parts is suppose to come to my home tomorrow, therefore I need to miss work to wait for him. Meh. It’s ok I guess. Pretty flimsy in comparison to the Miele that I’m replacing. I had very specific measurements for the chimney size, exhaust venting and style that would work so I guess beggars can’t be choosers but it’s not really what I would consider to be high end or even mid quality. Just cheaply made in my opinion. It’s held on with 2 x 1.25” 6 wood screws and my wife can lift it up by herself. The Miele we took down was a beast and solid like a piece of granite. This thing I can bend with my bare hands. Also the packaging is pretty lame. When it arrived the styrofoam was broken and there was a big dent on the back I had to hammer out (won’t ever see it). Don’t purchase!!! I had this delivered on 8/27/2023, I had it installed on the same day. 2 weeks later it does not work. The lights don’t turn on and the hood blower does not turn on. I would not expect this from. $2k item. I called wayfair, they say to call zephyr. I called Zephyr, it took a whole week to get someone on the phone. You have the longest hold times. You ask for a return call know one calls you back. I finally got thru after being on hold for 7 hours. Unbelievable!!! I finally got a technician to call me to ask me , what’s wrong with it”? I told him the message that’s blinking on the hood screen and he asks , so do you need parts ? What ?! How am I supposed to know. Oh my goodness. That’s why I’m calling him, to figure this out. Honestly save your money and your time. I will never purchase from wayfair again. I will update this review, the very helpful technician that is asking me if I need parts is suppose to come to my home tomorrow, therefore I need to miss work to wait for him.
