They definitely need a rug pad for my hardwood floors because they do slide frequently when we step on them. My rug pads arrive tomorrow and I know they will help with this. The colors are more on the subtle side. Overall color is a steel blue or smoky blue with the other colors being navy, ivory, beige, rust, very subtle mustard yellow, but could be confused with beige until you look at it closely. Love it! Replaced an extremely loud Broan hood. Couldn’t wait for the kitchen remodel because the replaced hood was so loud. So glad we got this now and we’ll design the kitchen around this hood. I was unable to install 8” duct and have it reduced for now. Up to level 3 pretty much all you hear is the whooshing of air being vented outside.
