I bought this primarily as a reading nook lounger. It weighs 50 lbs and I wasn't home when it was left leaning on its end on my porch. I'm a 60 yo woman and managed this solo. It took some work to shimmy this into the house but the room it went into is near the front door. If you have steps you will absolutely need 2 people. The box is big and awkward and difficult to get a good grip. Once in the room, I leaned it against the wall with the bottom facing me. So when you open the box the underneath is showing. Locate the little box with the legs, cut away the protective plastic, screw in the legs and then voila lower it down. The legs have felt stick ons and easy to slide from there if you have hard floors. It does have some unsightly metal brackets attached on both sides so I covered it with a cute throw. Plus I bought the cream color and it could get dirty fast. Hard to say how long the cushion will remain supportive. But overall I feel it was a decent purchase for the price point.. Lisa. I was worried there were no reviews yet, but took a chance. I’ve been looking for a navy blue velvet arm chair that was a mid century modern style, had deep seat, but not too wide for our space (less than 36 inches). The chair is as pictured and also the specs are accurate. However, I should have realized the back is not as high as our old chair but I’ve improvised and added a pillow for me to rest my head. The legs also seem darker than in the pics. It is comfortable to sit in so far and I prefer a firm seat. The back pillow has a zipper so you can take it out to clean or you can change the insert padding and it is reversible. The seat cushion also has a zipper and is removable but you can’t use the other side because it has velcros. Love the deep navy blue color and the soft velvet.
