Our first base had a small crack in one corner, most likely due to shipping damage. Wayfair immediately replaced it and the 2nd base had stronger packaging material and came in good condition. The drain is very slightly off centered, which is how it was meant to be, but since we were replacing an older base that was centered, the hole and shower drain didn't match up. We purchase a small offset drain attachment which worked perfectly. The base is sturdy and strong and with the rings on the underside for support, it did not need any filling material. I did a self install and I'll say that you have to be extra careful with the corners, glass can still break just touching a hard surface in the corners so always have it resting on stacked cardboard before final placements.. Well let me break this down. 1- Quality - This quality is quite good. The vanity is made from wood, and overall the weight after completion is substantial. 2- Finish - The finish is nice and is true to color. 3- Assembly - This is where the problem occurs - The sliders that were included are not the same ones shown on the instructions. Anyone assembling this vanity better have a good understanding of using tools to complete the assembly. The sliding track mechanism had to be adjusted with 1/2 inch board used as a spacer between the track and the cabinet. If you attach the slider to the vanity wall, the distance between the two tracks will not match up with the drawer installed mechanism. 4- The instructions are weak, and do not give you specific instructions needed to make adjustments to the sliding tracks.
