This is a great swing. It was fairly easy to put together, although it's helpful to have 2 people for some of it. There is a small dent in the top bar, but not bad enough to send back. This is a nice looking swing, and the cushions and seating are comfortable. It’s a bit too high for short people. I’m 5 ft and my feet don’t reach the ground, and my husband who’s 5’4” just can touch. Also, the side table extension part is plastic, and I’m not sure it will last as long as the swing. The swing from Almont Co arrived in 2 boxes ready to be put together. The directions were simple but a little confusing. I also used my own tools to assemble it. It took about 2 hours and it looked good but it would look nicer if the bolts and chain were a brown or bronze. The bare steel really stands out. Overall it’s a nice comfortable swing. For the price, you can’t beat the quality. I left the top off because I’m using it for sunbathing as well. Love that it lays flat. I have had a couple swings from big box retail stores, which were light weight compared to this. It’s very sturdy, but also much heavier than ones I’ve had in the past. The instructions on the screws were a bit confusing and could have been a little less confusing. Definitely a two person job to put together. The screws are not galvanized so I do worry they will rust. Other than that, the price and the quality is awesome compared to others I’ve seen.
