This is my first stick vacuum, so I don't have anything to compare it to. I would give the suction 3 stars and the features 5 stars. I love the charging stand, I'm glad it doesn't have to go on the wall. It's also light and gets into corners easily. Replaced my Culligan system with this and am very happy with the change. Had my plumber install it with new Kohler faucets in a kitchen remodeling project and it works great.
