Assembly was about 6 hours! Some of the assembly order was not engineered to make it easy, such as the door hinges. It was easier for me to put the hinge on the wall first, and the attach the door to the hinge. Directions weren’t entirely clear, especially when it came to the direction of the curved hinge to the fold out door. I accidentally broke the little flap on it because I had installed it upside down. Again, the order if hinge installment made it a bit more difficult. These end tables are solid wood and excellent product. Worth every penny. No MDF or cheap parts. True omage to classic furniture. They comes 90 assembled you just need to add the legs. Adding the legs takes less time than unboxing. UNBOXING TIP turn the box upside down and peel the layers of cardboard back. The first one took me like 15 minutes to unbox and the 2nd one was faster, once I understood how it was packaged. There are 2 layers of packaging protecting this beauty. The tracks on these drawers are the cheapest I've ever seen. I've installed many cabinets over the years and know the trades well. I've seen the good and the bad and these are worse than bad. I thought I'd seen them all until now. These drawers ruin both the functionality and appearance since the drawers literally have a space on each side that make the appearance of the nightstands look awful and cheap. In other words no overlap such as you normally see on drawers. If they weren't already put together I'd return them. As it is, they will be given away or discarded somehow. You get what you pay for. Really nice, quality, sturdy piece of furniture. No particle board! The deliver was timely; the stand was sent in one box and easily the best-packaged piece of furniture I've ever ordered from anywhere. It took a while to get everything out of the box, but it was worth it considering it was packaged so well that there was no damage! The solid wood has a cherry tint but in most lightings looks pretty neutral-brown as you can see from two of the photos. Assembly wouldn't be challenging if you did it with two people, but I did it myself and it took a few stop-and-go hours with the occasional distraction. I also am not handy at ALL. I will say that I think you'll need a drill for the assembly: if I had one complaint, it would be that I had to re-drill the holes for the door hinges on the inside of one of the cabinets, which didn't line up perfectly, and also widen some of the holes when attaching the back panel.
