Durability is there but I would be hesitant to overload it with anything too heavy. Tolerances are slightly off between the individual shelves and the sides of the bookcase causing a bit of a gap to be present between the two edges. Also there isn't a lot of room for error when installing the back panel. The panel and its screw holes needs to be aligned near perfectly center, otherwise the screws will damage and shear the edges of the side panels off due to how thin the side walls are.. Josh Taing. The table is super cute and looks just like pictured! We love how it turned out. There are two drawers that can be opened/used - one on each side of the table. I wish the quality was better - it is a bit overpriced for the quality (I would've expected around $150 for this quality). The table also arrived with a chip in the front, but isn't noticeable enough for us to mess with replacing it. I hope this table lasts a couple years without getting too scratched up. The tracks on these drawers are the cheapest I've ever seen. I've installed many cabinets over the years and know the trades well. I've seen the good and the bad and these are worse than bad. I thought I'd seen them all until now. These drawers ruin both the functionality and appearance since the drawers literally have a space on each side that make the appearance of the nightstands look awful and cheap. In other words no overlap such as you normally see on drawers. If they weren't already put together I'd return them. As it is, they will be given away or discarded somehow. You get what you pay for.
