There is never enough storage in the dining room. This Draper Mid Century 4 Door Sideboard Buffet made from solid hardwood, fills so many needs. Love the look .... however, once assembled (which took the skill set of my husband) we realized that if we wanted to place shelves inside, we would need to be creative as the holes that are drilled for the shelf pegs were not at all consistant. 6 holes in the back and 4 in the front... not in line with each other??? There was no way we could put a shelf in this unit. I reached out to customer service and they were wonderful. I have decided that ordering furniture on line holds some risk. The table is super cute and looks just like pictured! We love how it turned out. There are two drawers that can be opened/used - one on each side of the table. I wish the quality was better - it is a bit overpriced for the quality (I would've expected around $150 for this quality). The table also arrived with a chip in the front, but isn't noticeable enough for us to mess with replacing it. I hope this table lasts a couple years without getting too scratched up. I spent a lot of time searching and I’m so glad I purchased this one. It’s heavy and durable feeling, and seems much more expensive than it was. The gray linen is a great color and it holds a lot (we have an air mattress and 6 throw blankets in it). It arrived quickly. The only slight negative is there aren’t pre drilled holes showing where the legs go, so it took a bit more time and effort to get them on than we anticipated. I’ve been looking for storage options for a while, mostly for books but having the option for other things as well, and a dresser was too bulky while a book case was too narrow and tall. This is perfect. It’s well made and looks great. The back is pressed board with a wood laminate and there is definitely an order to install the back panels. There are no pre-drilled holes for the back panels, and while I did it through sheer willpower and determination, a power screwdriver would be helpful.
