There is never enough storage in the dining room. This Draper Mid Century 4 Door Sideboard Buffet made from solid hardwood, fills so many needs. Love the look .... however, once assembled (which took the skill set of my husband) we realized that if we wanted to place shelves inside, we would need to be creative as the holes that are drilled for the shelf pegs were not at all consistant. 6 holes in the back and 4 in the front... not in line with each other??? There was no way we could put a shelf in this unit. I reached out to customer service and they were wonderful. I have decided that ordering furniture on line holds some risk. These end tables are solid wood and excellent product. Worth every penny. No MDF or cheap parts. True omage to classic furniture. They comes 90 assembled you just need to add the legs. Adding the legs takes less time than unboxing. UNBOXING TIP turn the box upside down and peel the layers of cardboard back. The first one took me like 15 minutes to unbox and the 2nd one was faster, once I understood how it was packaged. There are 2 layers of packaging protecting this beauty. Just finished assembling both of them and they look great! Not sure why they are called "narrow" when they are square! Easy directions, even for a 60+ year old woman. My only disappointment is the artificial textured "grain" that is on the topside and legs, but the underside was left smooth and I like that look a lot better.
