The leather is very good quality. It's comfortable. I'm a little short so when I sit back my feet don't touch the floor due to the depth of the chair. I'm fine with it like that. I like using 2 throw pillows behind me. I have my sofa on risers, so I also have my wonderful new chair on risers. We only had to bolt the legs on. Each leg has 4 screws to secure them. There is never enough storage in the dining room. This Draper Mid Century 4 Door Sideboard Buffet made from solid hardwood, fills so many needs. Love the look .... however, once assembled (which took the skill set of my husband) we realized that if we wanted to place shelves inside, we would need to be creative as the holes that are drilled for the shelf pegs were not at all consistant. 6 holes in the back and 4 in the front... not in line with each other??? There was no way we could put a shelf in this unit. I reached out to customer service and they were wonderful. I have decided that ordering furniture on line holds some risk.
