I am a woman and put this together myself sitting on the floor the whole assembly. It is packaged very well and I had a time getting it out of the box. The predrilled holes were a little hard to find but following the instructions line by line showed them after using my cell phone flashlight. The assembly was not difficult. The most challenging part was putting the back cover on as it did not have predrilled holes. After trying to drill the screws with no predrilled holes, I settled on McGyvering the back panel and it is just as good and Im satisfied. The cabinet is sturdy. Well made and looks good and compliments other items I have in my home. I bought this cabinet for bedside books and stow away for things I always put on dresser to clear clutter. Perfect for what it is. It's not exactly the size I wanted but it's beautiful it holds a ton of stuff I have everything in there from books to Christmas decorations to cords from every electronic thing I own, whole shelf of liquor bottles a whole shelf of wine glasses. I wanted something to go underneath a gallery wall of sculptures. I wanted something vintage couldn't find something sleek and simple. Somehow I stumbled across this and it's a beautiful acorn warm color golden brown not muddy it is all wood except for of course the back which is against the wall and I couldn't care less what it is. It's a very heavy piece so a solid back would have made it even worse. The drawers are on rails and easy to open and shut. The sliding panels are very very slidey! Maybe a bit too slidey actually! My husband put it together but I could have if I were a little taller and stronger. Follow the instructions, be methodical lay out all the pieces carefully before beginning and it's not really that difficult I think he did it in about 90 minutes maybe tops. It's attractive it's sleek it saves us 5 in over the bulky thing that we had there before depth wise, the drawers are just seemingly bottomless but then I was used to it 2 inch deep drawer on an old buffet. The 42 inch height turned out to be kind of perfect because I can still put my tall lamp on there underneath my sculptures. So I'm very pleased to, another Wayfair win! Arrived in 3 days I think after ordering, very well packed not a scratch on it not a dent not a scuff. I don't know what kind of wood rubber wood is but I've had other pieces made out of rubber wood that lasted for 35 years without a mark on them. It is filled and sturdy and easy to access and still low enough that you can set some keys on it or the candy dish or whatever. Really love it! Still got a bunch of junk around it and on it I'm still in rearranging mode from the old piece of furniture. This this is in a short sort of haul/turn from our long living room into the nook where our bedroom door opens. So we traverse this little area millions of times a day with laundry baskets and whatever we're leaving the bedroom with or taking in. Now we have 5 in more room. The table is super cute and looks just like pictured! We love how it turned out. There are two drawers that can be opened/used - one on each side of the table. I wish the quality was better - it is a bit overpriced for the quality (I would've expected around $150 for this quality). The table also arrived with a chip in the front, but isn't noticeable enough for us to mess with replacing it. I hope this table lasts a couple years without getting too scratched up. I spent a lot of time searching and I’m so glad I purchased this one. It’s heavy and durable feeling, and seems much more expensive than it was. The gray linen is a great color and it holds a lot (we have an air mattress and 6 throw blankets in it). It arrived quickly. The only slight negative is there aren’t pre drilled holes showing where the legs go, so it took a bit more time and effort to get them on than we anticipated.
