Being porcelain, it’s very hard and durable, and perhaps best of all, you can use an orbital sander to remove thinset and grout without damaging the finish—huge time saver! Just one critical thing to know in advance: these are spaced at 4mm, and you’ll have to search hard to find 4mm spacers. 3/16 is too wide, 1/8 is too skinny. On the upside, if things start looking a wee bit out of alignment, you can use those 3/16 and 1/8 spacers (very selectively) to cheat a little, with no discernible impact to aesthetics.. Ryan. In order to maintain the popular “outside-in” look, our tiles and mosaics come in either a natural cleft or tumbled finish. This material requires very little maintenance and is extremely resilient.

The tile is beautiful. I love it. I haven't installed it yet, and I know I will have to be careful as some of the pieces (may 1-2 on each square) is loose.
