This is a very substantial coverlet. It’s gorgeous but it is definitely a mild raspberry color. It’s fine with my bedding but if you want a more sand/cream this won’t do. Opposites attract in this Couture Dreams Luscious window curtain. The soft, luxurious, elegant silk velvet curtain is juxtaposed with a jute header. So sophisticated and romantic, this curtain is a perfect pairing of materials that meld together to create a truly stunning statement.

The curtains were crazy expensive. It took me a LONG time to actually pull the trigger in my cart to buy them. With that said, they are beautiful and I would buy them again. Make sure you read the description. You get one panel and it is only 18 wide. They came out of packaging wrinkled but the wrinkles are falling out as the curtains hang. The top is a beautiful slate gray and the material is like a burlap. The bottom half has two layers. The front layer is a very thin crushed velvet like material. Rub down and it feels smooth rub up and you get resistance from the material. The material and weight allow the curtain to pick up lighting in different ways to give it a shiny look in some areas and add depth. It is a warm silver color that picks up a darker taupe in darker lighting. Where the natural sunlight hits, becomes an almost silvery white. The back layer is a semi-sheer that is a warm silvertaupe color. The kind of sheer material you would imagine for a bridesmaid dress. I used a double rod and hung a sheer white curtain with a burlap like look and feel to it behind these crazy expensive ones and I love the way it all looks together. These are accent curtains and would be unbelievably expensive to try to fully cover a window with them. My camera adds a pink tone to the photo where you can see close up of top and lower half together but they are not pink. I included a close up of the crush velvet material so you can see the true color. They can pick up a pink tone when bright sunshine is coming in the window behind them.. Elizabeth. Houston, TX.
