I had no problem getting used to the bed, yes it was a little harder than the one in the store and I phoned to make sure I got the soft because it was no where on the mattress that it was a soft, she checked and assured me I did and it would soften up. It’s incredibly soft and plush, but unlike other soft mattresses I’ve tried, you don’t sink in so much that it’s hard to move or roll over. It feels like you’re sleeping on a cloud, but with just the right amount of support underneath, so I wake up feeling rested and without aches. I've been sleeping on it for about a month now and have no issues waking up with a sore back, shoulders, or neck! A couple of things to keep in mind: this mattress is very tall, about 16", so you’ll need deep pocket sheets and a deep mattress protector, and it’s also very heavy, which makes changing the sheets a bit of a workout. Even with those quirks, the comfort is outstanding. If you want a mattress that’s truly soft and plush but still supportive and durable, I can’t recommend this one enough.. Maribenz_9855. I bought this couch and chair (see photo). It is great! I am a bit perplexed whether or not this set will last. I am 5'5" and I can lay on the sofa ok. Both pieces are comfortable. It is the look that I was going for. I need to figure out what to do if I need to replace the cushions for I think they will need to be replaced at some point. The bottom cushions I have to keep on pushing back, even though there is Velcro they still move outwards when sitting down and getting up. Very tedious in putting together. He says it is very comfortable, gives great support and he likes that the mattress isn't firm but on the softer side. This mattress is used when we have guest as well. My mom slept on it and she gave her stamp of approval. Believe me when I say that my Mom would let me know if she didn't like it. It is soft and very comfortable. I have back pain and mornings are always hard for me to get up and moving. Since I have switched to this mattress I do not wake up with any aches or pains!
