Ordered 2 of these so our could dog to run and play down a long hallway we have downstairs. One was 20' long and the other was 18' long. The rubber backing works great in keeps them from sliding on the laminate floor. I did have an issue with the 18' one having a bad curve to it, as you can see in the photo. The length on one side was almost 2" longer than the other. I contacted Wayfair and sent them a picture and they immediately replaced. The new one is fine, only a very minor curve. The mat has been permanently dyed for moderate traffic and can be placed inside or out (only under a covered space). Durable and fade resistant.
