Looks great, but arrived with some clear scratches and chips in the wood veneer. The particle board material makes it lightweight, but also feels a little frail / weak. The doors especially feel like you could accidentally snap a pillar if you bump it wrong... It was perhaps one of the easiest pieces of furniture I've ever had to build, so kudos to the designers. Easy to follow instructions. Took maybe an hour to assemble. Sturdy. I didn’t fasten to the wall. The back is open but it has a piece to brace the frame and make it more sturdy. I only added the separator to the one of the doors so. For reference, top pairs are women size 7.5 and kid’s size 1. The bottom is men size 10.5 and 11. It will only fit my husband’s size 13 without the separator and put them in sideways. We will just his shoes underneath. Very pretty. I’m happy I purchased it. The included multilingual directions are well thought out and easy to understand and 'not' a micro-print one pager with spelling errors ! I was able to assemble it in 20 minutes by myself. Then I stacked the four racks just to see how it looks. I liked it so much that I took a photo of it in the corner of my guest bedroom with samples of all sorts of male & female shoes, slippers etc. It appears elegantly delicate but is sturdy and durable. I did have a minor blemish in shelf. I chatted with the assistant bot in the bottom right corner and it ordered a replacement part(s) - that arrived promptly. The shelving can be adjusted to size of shoes being stored in many variations as the photo shows (attached). I am quietly pleased with this purchase.
