I am not very happy with this product, particularly because I paid a premium price expecting the premium quality depicted in the online product photos. I will not be burying expensive items from Wayfair again, as I have in the past (check my purchase history). I am only buying in-person, since Wayfair apparently has no quality control. I very easily could have ordered a lower priced item which looked comparably well, but chose the premium product. The product was not as depicted not just in the quality of the finish, but also the a much simpler and plain drawer design was sent to me, not what was in the online photos. The attached pictures show that the staining was incomplete, patch around the drawers, and missing on the lower portion of the baseboard. Obviously, the workers manufacturing this product rushed through process, and did not put care into the staining and clearcoating process. The same is true of the clearcoat. Also, no assembly instructions were included, and there were no holes for attaching the cushion to the bench. I was extremely disappointed with Wayfair. The product I was sold should have cost only half or two-thirds what I paid. I feel cheated by Wayfair, and no excuses offered by Wayfair are going to make me feel better about this purchase. If you have a serious shoe situation like me, you need this bench in your life immediately. I have mine in my closet and it has completely transformed the space. I can see every single pair at a glance — no more digging around or forgetting what I own. The adjustable shelves are the real MVP here. I have everything from flat sandals to tall boots and chunky heeled mules, and I was able to configure the spacing so everything fits without being cramped. That flexibility is something a lot of shoe racks don't offer and it genuinely makes a difference. It holds SO many shoes. Looking at mine right now — heels, boots, mules, sneakers, sandals — all fitting comfortably across the shelves with room to spare on top too. Way more capacity than I expected for the footprint. Assembly was quick and easy, which I always appreciate. Clear instructions, included tools, nothing frustrating about it. The white finish is clean and bright — it blends seamlessly into a closet without feeling bulky or taking over the space. If you have a neutral or light closet aesthetic this will fit right in. The item is exactly as described and appears as shown in the photos. The wood it is constructed of is very lightweight, and the overall quality is ok - I would not say the quality matches the high cost of the item. I selected the inside delivery option, thinking it would be unboxed and placed inside, as other items delivered by that option have been. I guess it is my fault for not reading the fine print, though, as the delivery guys dropped off a massive shipping crate that I had to use a screw driver to open. I then had to remove the item in a shipping box and unpack it. The convenience of having an item arrive fully assembled is significantly lessened by now having a huge, wooden shipping crate sitting in my living room that I now have to figure out how to disassemble and dispose of.. They say this product is solid wood when it definitely is not. It is made of cheap particle board. The parts were numbered incorrectly. It says that it is for shoe storage but can only fit one pair of small shoes per drawer. It says that it seats two but it definitely cannot support the weight.
