I just put this up, and it has the most detailed instructions I've ever seen! All of the parts were there, everything numbered, everything fit together real well, I also like how you can take the ends of the shelter off and back on, Ididn't put them on from the beginning but I don't think it's going to be a big deal you just got to go up under the collar that comes around the end to keep weather out when you do have the ends on there. I'm not using the anchoring ropes into the ground, taking one to a tree and the other two into the house. I'll just have to wait and see if it can stand up to South Florida weather. Extremely easy to set up. This is being used as a ball pit for youngsters at an annual festival, so it will get plenty of use. The 300D Oxford material felt durable.We set it up with a wood-burning stove using the stove jack, and it worked great. I was initially concerned about how close the stove would be to the walls, but the spacing was actually very comfortable and safe.Inside, we were able to fit two twin air mattresses with a storage table in between, which worked perfectly as a side table. With the stove inside, I would say it realistically fits 2 people comfortably (or 1 queen/king mattress). Without the stove, you could likely fit an additional mattress.The awning is a standout feature — having a covered cooking area right outside the tent made a big difference, especially in wet conditions. Definitely worth getting the version with the awning.The only downside is that this “8-person” size does not have the top ventilation that the larger models (10- and 12-person) include. Because of that, we experienced noticeable condensation buildup along the walls. If your bedding touches the sides, it can get damp, so I recommend keeping mattresses slightly away from the walls and bringing a towel to wipe down moisture.One additional tip: if you’re using a wood stove, make sure your chimney pipe extends well above the tent height (ideally 9–10 ft). Mine was a bit shorter, and a few embers caused small, patchable holes in the roof.Overall, I’m very happy with this tent — it’s durable, functional, and worked great for cold-weather camping. This is a really well made pop up tent. We are going to use it to store our summer needs like the lawnmower, weedeater, ect. but it would also be perfect for sports outings, festivals beach picnics, I could go on and on.
