As the air inside the greenhouse warms, the vent gradually opens to allow the correct amount of air flow into the greenhouse and closes when the optimal temperature is reached. The vent arm was designed with the use of natural wax that expands as the air gets warmer, to push a piston that raises the window, then contracts as it cools, closing with the use of a spring. The Automatic Vent Opener operates without the use of electricity.

The Palram - Canopia Side Louver Window is designed to improve air circulation and help control the temperature in all Palram - Canopia Mythos, Hybrid, Essence, Nature Series, Americana, Balance and Glory greenhouses. The shutters are controlled manually for variable airflow to help aid in cooling on warmer days. When paired with the roof vent, the louver window can provide improved air circulation. Additionally, the Palram - Canopia Side Louver Shutters can be fitted with the Automatic Louver Window Opener to provide the ideal airflow into the greenhouse.

Purchased the Nature Series Greenhouse Anchor Kit (By Palram) to use with my Palram Hybrid Greenhouse (6X10).....Live in an area that can have severe wind come up quickly.....We have very sandy soil and we thought the ground screws might not hold well. So we have begun to assemble. It will look like a nice structure when completed. I like it BUT, It has horrible directions, making it painfully slow to assemble. Will need to use clear silicon to keep the ceiling from leaking, and possibly the sides as well. I will reinforce the structure in the corners and secure it to the ground (for hurricane/tornado season in Texas). Personally, I will choose to replace the strategic panels with clear plexiglass so I can see inside and through to the back, or look out, as the provided panels are 'frosted'.I hope the adjustments will render it as stable as I'd like because I am very happy with the size and it's cute.... Added this to the side of my house. I added pressurized wood to level bottom since my pad is sloped. Also added wood around the sides and top because the brickwork on the bottom prevents greenhouse from being flush against siding. The RSI general purpose greenhouse & small building electric powered exhaust fan system is designed to fit all structures. The general design is for low profile structures that are in need of air. Their fan is proudly made in the United States and truly designed to fit all structures, but the purchaser needs to be able to retrofit the exhaust system to their own structure since each structure and building materials are different. Two ways fan can be mounted, from the outside or from the inside. If mounting from the outside a hole in the wall would need to be cut to allow for the fan and interior cage to fit through the wall. Use fasteners (not included) to fasten the fan to the wall by drilling through the framework and caulking the framework to make it water tight. The fan structure is now 100% enclosed in the building and the louvers are on the outside of the structure. If mounting from the inside, a hole in the wall would need to be cut so that the louvers will be able to open and close freely. Slide it in the opening from the inside out. The exterior lip around the louvers acts to finish off the appearance from the outside. Seal with caulking and fasten the fan to the wall (fasteners not included).

So far i am halfway through the build has taken several hours split in two days will be working on Finnishing this weekend but so far i am liking it instructions are easy to read there was one part we felt like we were on a wild goose chase but realized it was labeled wrong and has been smooth sailing. The compact greenhouse comes in many pieces. The stain seemed light, so I painted sealer on every piece before assembly. It took 2 people about 3 hours to put together. 2 days to stainseal. 6 months later, I love the greenhouse. Perfect size for my area. I think the sealant will help it last.
