The first lampshade that came in was unfortunately broken— It wasnt packaged very well, so I wasnt entirely surprised — but I sent in a report and they immediately sent out a replacement which was in one piece!
It is a bit wobbly when placed on a thick carpet, so if you plan to have it sitting out in the open, rhats something to be aware of. I have it behind my couch and it has been safe there.
