I was looking for a 10x12 shed with the door on the wide side which was surprisingly hard to find but fortunately this fit the bill. And Wayfair had it for a very reasonable price, so win-win! For a foreign made product I was thoroughly impressed with the instructions & how clearly pieces were labeled- they were surprisingly good! Assembly was very forgiving; measurements/alignment didn't have to be perfect, there was some forgiveness built in. HOWEVER. Every. Single. Piece. of stamped sheet metal (every side panel, every roof panel, the end gables, doors, etc) had a protective plastic film on it. No big deal right? Those are held on with static electricity right? NOPE! It's really thin plastic with an obnoxious adhesive- so if you heat it up, the glue loosens but the plastic softens & tears wayyyy too easily. If you don't heat it, the adhesive is too strong and tears the plastic wayyyy too easily. So lose-lose. Like literally I would say 50% of the time I put into assembling this was excruciatingly peeling torn plastic pieces off and 50% was enjoyably screwing & bolting pieces together watching the shed actually come to life. The Suncast 8x10 Shed is a nice addition to our property for our storage needs. I will admit the process of putting together the shed was not as easy as other reviews had suggested (however that is probably user error). Having a level base is extremely important as any uneven surface will cause the roofing and doors to not align as needed and will create some issues while putting it together. After a year it is still standing after 2 winters in New England. Snow slides right off no more shoveling the shed roof off. I build a 12x12 deck platform out of 2x6 for this to site on and works great. The took a day with two people. It has held together pretty well. The 1 thing I hate the most is the doors. They really need to re-engineer the doors as they are junk. They slide and move, I think I will need to rebuild this summer and make them more solid. No leads, it holds the ATV and Lawn tractor.. This shed is nice! It’s not what I expected but so far it’s been good. It is very windy where we live and so far the shed has been super sturdy. It is resin and has channels. Not sure how the floor will hold up, but the walls once assembled seem great. Assembly is a lot of prep and it takes 2-3 people. Comes in pretty heavy boxes so be prepared.
