Once upon I time I could sharpen my knifes to razor sharpness by hand. Decades later my hands are no longer steady enough to do that. I spent 10 minutes reading the instructions and then ten minutes getting two 8" knives sharper than I could do it by hand. After using it a few more times I'll be able to get a knife sharp in under a minute. Seriously, I think I'll be able to sharpen a knife as fast as a professional chef does with one of their sharpening rods. Aren't these the cutest! Measurements on this Rosie the Pink Pig is about 8W x 13D x 16H inches (tip to tip). The photo is a representation of what you will receive. If you place them outside, a liberal coating of clear sealer will insure it's longevity. Painstakingly handmade and hand painted, these are rustic and therefore may have some knicks, scratches, welds, etc. There will be scratches on the paint. That is normal and inherent with these pieces. Size and color tones may vary a bit as each is handmade.
