These beautiful cotton pillows use hand woven fabrics imported from the Chiang Mai region of northern Thailand. In the north of Thailand there are many hill tribes such as Hmong, Akha, Ya ,and Karen that are weaving these vintage traditional fabrics (Pillow Insert NOT included). Due to the handmade nature of these fabrics there can be minor imperfections and the actual color may vary slightly from the color displayed on the screen. Perfect for a bedroom, couch or office to mellow out another texture or patterned room accent.

This pillow cover is very nice quality with a heavy canvas-like backing and some beautiful stripe/dot accents. I purchased a pillow insert one size larger, so that it would be nice and firm for a lumber pillow. Whimsical in terracotta, Rocky the Teckel is a sculpture by the emerging Thai artist Nhut Nhathawut. With an expression that is so lifelike that it feels like he may bark at any moment, there are a number of artisanal aspects to the canine sculpture. This includes the obvious strokes of the artist's tools that play along the surface of the dog's body. Brownlee Currey had some fun with this dachshund, describing his reality as, "Known for only biting below the knee, he was last seen wading in the ocean just off Miami."

The pale blue glaze on the Chatswood table lamp flows over the gray surface of the unglazed terracotta to give it a handmade look. Wood accents in a Hiroshi gray finish and the crackle finish on the ginger-jar shape bring the terracotta lamp, which is topped with an oatmeal linen shade, added texture.
