They are indeed very very heavy and arrived in two different packages which was only annoying b/c then I had to get people twice to bring them in, versus just once but two trips at the same time. I just thought that part was odd. They haven't been installed yet so I need to update my review once that happens. We recently selected this shower door for a bathroom refresh. We didn't want to do custom glass in this kids bathroom, and opted to save a bit and go with a premade frameless shower door. The quality of the materials is exceptional for our needs here! Achieving a "high-end" look often comes down to the weight and finish of the hardware, and this door delivers on both counts. The brass finish is sophisticated and has a beautiful, soft luster. It isn't that overly shiny "fake" gold. The hinges feel substantial and provide a smooth, heavy inswing and outswing. The doors are beautiful but a little hard to slide- may be because they are new. Towel bars are very close to the glass - a towel will hang on them but it is a little tight to get it behind the rod. Frameless Sliding Shower Doors is one of best sliding doors I’ve ever seen, love the tempered glass and stainless steel hardware, they’re extremely heavy the matte black handles hardware makes it more expensive and stylish. When I ordered it I thought we could install it ourselves but decided against it cause the shower doors top of the line and made for life to not install properly, I’m in the process of trying to find someone to install it, will try and update afterwards.. These shower doors are nice very very heavy when delivered left outside my door steps had to get a stranger too help bring inside then Unpack just to make sure the glass wasn’t crack and all parts were in the box very nice quality and sturdy .The doors are just as pictured The glass is clear and frameless when assembling the handles on the shower doors I thought both went the same outside but instead one handle goes inside which I didn’t see that look in picture according to instructions I don’t like the look it being inside the shower door but their is a black piece that comes with the handles that covers the metal on back so you don’t see that showing I still highly recommend these shower doors for their stability..
